About

Tent City is a documentary film directed by Minneapolis filmmaker, Megan Towle.

Tent City, better known as The Wall of Forgotten Natives developed in the early summer of 2018, along Franklin and Hiawatha in Minneapolis. This was the largest homeless encampment in Minnesota history.

This film aims to capture the stories and lived experiences of the people within the camp. After spending 4 months in the camp, and following the residents to their next destination, the audience is asked to contemplate, where would you go if you had
no where left to turn?
